Case Study: Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group centralizes IT monitoring with Centreon

A Centreon Case Study

Preview of the Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group Case Study

Thanks to an Enlarged and Accessible It Monitoring System, the Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group Speaks the Business Language

Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group, a leading European tourism operator with nearly 300 sites across France and Europe, needed to centralize monitoring across its heterogeneous IT environments and provide a single, user-friendly entry point for technical and business stakeholders. The company wanted a solution that was less technical than its previous tools, more graphical, and better suited to extending analysis, reporting, and communication with non-IT users. Centreon EMS was selected to meet these needs.

Centreon implemented Centreon EMS to unify monitoring, improve data collection, and connect with the company’s CMDB, while adding graphical views and business-oriented reporting through modules such as Centreon MAP, BAM, and MBI. The deployment took less than six months and expanded the number of indicators from 700 to 10,000, improving responsiveness, reducing anomaly resolution time, and helping Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group communicate IT performance more clearly to business users and top management.
