Case Study: CCMA achieves secure IT monitoring modernization with Centreon IT Edition

CCMA migrates to a modernized and more secured IT monitoring platform

CCMA, the public broadcaster of Catalonia, faced the challenge of modernizing its dated and unsupported open-source IT monitoring platform. This legacy system posed security risks and lacked the ability to scale to meet the organization's evolving digital needs. To ensure a failsafe migration and maintain continuous monitoring of its critical IT environment, CCMA partnered with vendor Centreon and its IT Edition solution, supported by IT service company IThinkUPC.

Centreon implemented a modernized IT Edition platform in a parallel pre-production environment, ensuring a seamless transition with no loss of data or expertise. The results included a more secure, fully supported platform and the introduction of automatic discovery and ready-to-use connectors that saved significant time and increased monitoring accuracy. Centreon provided CCMA with a future-proof, centralized foundation that promotes collaboration and paves the way for further automation and cloud monitoring.
