A CenTrak Case Study
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center sought to improve patient-centered care while cutting costs by using real-time technologies to optimize resources and streamline workflows. To achieve this, Wake Forest deployed CenTrak’s Enterprise Location Services (with system integrator Infinite Leap supporting implementation) to gain enterprise-wide visibility into assets, staff, patients and environmental conditions.
Using CenTrak’s platform and an Office of Enterprise Visibility, Wake Forest implemented more than 50 real‑time use cases—asset management, temperature monitoring, wait‑time management, patient/staff locating and more—delivering measurable savings exceeding $10 million (including $970K/year from automated temperature monitoring, $2M/year from asset management, $2M+/year in productivity gains and $3.5M avoided redundant systems). CenTrak’s solution enabled ongoing integrations and rapid ROI as new use cases are rolled out.
