ALE advances from 110 NIST 800-171 controls toward CMMC certification with CentraComm

The customer, Acquisition Logistics Engineering (ale), a defense industry supplier, faced the challenge of meeting new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements after having previously achieved self-certified NIST SP 800-171 compliance. They engaged the vendor CentraComm for advisory services to help them prepare for the mandatory third-party assessment required for CMMC certification.

CentraComm performed an assessment and gap analysis of ale's cybersecurity systems, validating their existing NIST compliance and identifying areas for CMMC improvement. As a result, ale received a detailed report to focus their efforts for certification. CentraComm continues to provide advisory support as the customer addresses the findings.
