Extreme Power Services, an 18-person electrical contractor based in Houston, faced the challenge of delivering a complex 17-story, $3 million office build-out (Energy Tower II) on an 11-month schedule while accommodating owner-driven changes and tight timelines. Already an early adopter of technology, EPS used On-Screen Takeoff® and McCormick Estimating and worked with On Center Software to improve takeoff and estimating accuracy and speed for repeating floors and fast-paced commercial work.

On Center Software’s On-Screen Takeoff® automated identification of repeating floors and integrated with EPS’s estimating workflow, allowing rapid, accurate quotes, timely supplier coordination, and off-site prefabrication while awaiting site access. The result: EPS completed the Energy Tower II project on schedule and on budget in 11 months, realized greater throughput and cost savings, and was selected for the follow-on Energy Tower III project—reinforcing EPS’s strong repeat-business position.
