MCG Commercial, a Clackamas, Oregon drywall and interior contractor established in 2003, was hired by Skanska to deliver drywall, structural steel framing, and acoustical ceilings for the 138,000 sq ft Target at the Jantzen Beach redevelopment. Facing an extraordinarily tight two-month window for interior completion on a $750M, six-month project, MCG turned to On Center Software—using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid—to automate takeoffs and estimating so they could scale resources quickly without sacrificing quality.

On Center Software’s solutions standardized MCG’s estimating and workflow, enabling accurate, fast quantification and timely staffing so crews could “hit the ground running” and keep the Target interior on schedule. The implementation improved productivity and estimating accuracy, helped MCG reliably support multiple Target remodels, strengthened margins, and supported a company-wide customer retention rate of over 85%.
