The customer, Surry County Schools, a K-12 school district in North Carolina, faced the challenge of attracting and retaining economic talent for the county by building a reputation as a leadership district. To drive this transformational change, they partnered with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) to implement leadership development at all levels.

The solution from the Center for Creative Leadership involved creating a custom Leadership Framework and establishing a Teacher Leadership Academy. This resulted in the framework being actively practiced across all schools and over 15 cohorts of teachers being trained.
