Securitas North America, a security industry leader with over 120,000 employees, faced the challenge of transforming its business to become a modern security services leader. To achieve its most ambitious goals, the company identified a critical need to strengthen the capabilities of its mid-level managers. They partnered with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) to address this leadership development imperative.
CCL collaborated with Securitas to create "Accelerate," a customized, six-month leadership development journey for area vice presidents. The solution featured immersive retreats, 360-degree assessments, live online modules, and executive coaching, utilizing CCL’s frameworks like Direction-Alignment-Commitment (DAC) and Better Conversations Every Day. While formal measurement via the Kirkpatrick Model is ongoing, the program generated an unprecedented level of excitement and inspired participants. Informal feedback showed 100% of initial participants felt increased effectiveness, preparedness for future responsibilities, and greater awareness of their impact. The initiative successfully expanded across leadership ranks, sparking a cultural awakening about development at all levels.
