Tandridge District Council - Customer Case Study

Tandridge District Council, a local government in Surrey serving about 83,000 citizens, needed to develop a more secure environment for remote working for its 180 employees. Facing Government Connect requirements for dual-factor authentication and running systems on Microsoft Hyper‑V delivered by Citrix, the council selected CensorNet and its CensorNet Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) to address the challenge.

CensorNet implemented its MFA rapidly (a matter of days), delivering a tokenless, phone-based authentication portal that enabled all 180 staff to work remotely while meeting regulatory requirements and protecting sensitive citizen data. The solution proved scalable and cost‑effective — about half the cost of token-based options — eliminated token replacement issues, and gave Tandridge confidence in secure remote access.
