Mediterranean Shipping Company - Customer Case Study

Mediterranean Shipping Company, a world leader in global container shipping, needed to secure off-site access to Citrix-published applications (Citrix NetScaler) for employees working anywhere in the world while replacing an outdated VPN and strengthening domain authentication. After evaluating several options, MSC selected CensorNet and its CensorNet Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to meet its security and usability requirements.

CensorNet implemented its MFA solution—using context-aware checks (geographical location, time of day, IP) and mobile passcodes—and ran a successful one-month trial before phasing the migration of all 500 remote users. The deployment was smooth, token-free and cost-effective, delivered strong measurable results (500 users protected, Citrix NetScaler secured), high user acceptance with no complaints, and gave MSC increased confidence in its network security and cloud-readiness.
