Swiss Post controls and steers highly diverse initialization and planning processes in the communications sector with Digital Asset Management (DAM) from censhare

Swiss Post, the Swiss Confederation–owned postal and financial services group, needed to bring order to highly diverse, decentralized communication planning across dozens of divisions and many channels. Previously managed in standalone Excel sheets, topic and channel planning lacked cross‑company coordination and scalability; the goal was to integrate higher‑level planning into content creation using the organization’s existing censhare DAM to avoid duplication and inconsistent data as volumes grew.

Working with censhare and aclevion, Swiss Post implemented a group‑wide topic planning data model and agile rollout that centralized planning in the existing DAM UI, added templates, automated workflows and archiving, conflict detection with Gantt visualization, and rough budget tracking. The result: a single cross‑departmental planning platform used by 100+ users across 12 business areas handling 600+ projects a year, delivering up to 30% less effort for the same tasks, better management overviews and consistent, scalable communication processes.
