Publishing Across Multiple Sites and Media

Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag (DLV) is a major German agricultural publisher with almost 400 staff producing more than 30 print titles and 40+ websites across 17 locations. Faced with a highly decentralized, heterogeneous organisation, DLV needed a central solution to manage content, digital assets, rights and complex workflows so teams in Munich, Berlin, Hanover and elsewhere could collaborate efficiently across print and online channels and streamline ad handling and parallel production.

DLV implemented censhare as a central content pool and asset-management platform with robust workflow control and open interfaces to integrate ad and business systems. The system lets geographically dispersed editors, layout teams and agencies work in parallel, automatically feeds booked ads into issues and simplifies cross-media publishing — enabling DLV to handle all media channels economically with existing staff and support its goal to grow print, online/mobile, events and customer services.
