Sysmex America, a global leader in hematology diagnostics, faced significant process variance and the need to optimize operations ahead of a major SAP S/4HANA migration while improving cash flow and customer satisfaction. To gain visibility, prioritize IT initiatives by ROI, and democratize analytics across the organization, Sysmex engaged Celonis and its Execution Management System (EMS).

Using Celonis EMS to uncover execution gaps and prioritize fixes, Sysmex revamped credit management, implemented targeted collections strategies, and standardized processes across Order‑to‑Cash, Purchase‑to‑Pay and service platforms. Celonis helped recover $3.4M in overdue contracts in one month, drove roughly $10M (reported $10–$12M) of improved cash flow, and reduced past‑due A/R by about 60%, while accelerating time‑to‑cash, on‑time delivery and S/4HANA migration readiness.
