A Celonis Case Study

Preview of the Siemens Healthineers Case Study

Siemens, The power of process improvement on a global scale

Siemens Healthineers, a global-scale business with highly complex end-to-end operations, faced limited transparency and rampant process variation that hindered its digital transformation efforts. To tackle this, they partnered with Celonis and implemented the Celonis Execution Management System (EMS) with Process Mining to gain a holistic, data-driven view across audit, logistics, finance, procurement and sales.

Using Celonis EMS, Siemens Healthineers launched initiatives such as Order Management 4 Tomorrow (OM4T) to benchmark and optimize Order-to-Cash; this delivered a 24% increase in automation, an 11% reduction in rework and 10 million fewer manual touches per year, while deployments reached thousands of users and handled some 30 million sales items. Celonis also supported on-time delivery improvements (about 1.5 million additional items annually) and $8.7M in economic value from inventory optimization, producing measurable, organization-wide gains.
