Frontline’s Finance Team Takes Control of Their Own Integrations to Automate Cash Applications and Boost Job Satisfaction

Frontline Education, a SaaS provider for K–12 school systems, was struggling to manage high-volume cash applications with a small finance team. The process relied on manual Excel uploads and matching against NetSuite, which was time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to scale during annual billing cycles. Frontline turned to Celigo and its Cash Application Manager to NetSuite to automate the work.

Celigo implemented a guided, quick setup that pulled payment data from the bank and automatically matched it in NetSuite. The result was a major reduction in manual effort: cash applications and bank reconciliations dropped from a full staff accountant’s day to about two hours per day, with roughly two-thirds of cash applications auto-applied. Celigo also helped cut errors, simplify maintenance, and improve job satisfaction by freeing staff from repetitive data entry.
