Vodafone Portugal, a major telecommunications provider, faced a challenge with its Siebel upgrade project. Predominantly manual testing processes were resulting in time-consuming releases and unproductive resource management. To accelerate releases and unlock test automation for business acceptance validations, Vodafone challenged vendor Celfocus to implement a solution.

Celfocus implemented its proprietary Automated Testing Framework to automate Siebel regression and sanity tests. The solution automated 377 test cases and created 30 continuous testing pipelines. This significantly shortened Vodafone Portugal's release validation cycles, decreased reliance on business analysts for testing, and reduced manual effort, achieving the goal of faster release approvals.
