Vodafone Portugal sought to leverage the influx of visitors during World Youth Day 2023 by transforming its vast, anonymized network data into actionable public insights. The challenge was to showcase the capabilities of its Vodafone Analytics solution, sharing engaging data patterns with the media and public to promote the platform's value for business decision-making. Celfocus was chosen as the vendor for this project based on a history of successful collaboration.

Celfocus partnered with Vodafone to develop a portal featuring four interactive analytics dashboards. The solution processed anonymized data on an hourly basis using Google Cloud to provide real-time mobility insights, such as visitor footfall and demographics. The project successfully generated significant media coverage and public engagement, with a dedicated landing page attracting over 1,350 unique visitors. This initiative also created sales leads through webinars and internally empowered Vodafone's retail and sales teams with improved data-driven strategies.
