C&W Shoes (doing business as Shoe Gallery) began as a small Georgia footwear retailer in 1992 and grew into a multi-store regional chain, but their legacy systems limited employees to only style- and color-based searches across 200+ brands. The company needed more powerful inventory search, reporting and forecasting capabilities plus a modern e-commerce presence to support expansion beyond the Southeast.

Shoe Gallery implemented Celerant’s Command Retail in 2006 and launched Celerant’s e-commerce in 2009, later upgrading to an enterprise site with advanced search fields, data-mining and replenishment tools, live shipping rates and one-step shipping exports, SEO-friendly URLs, color swatches, store locators and a CMS. The integrated, real-time platform accelerated trend recognition and reordering, improved fulfillment and customer experience, and enabled the retailer to expand nationally and strengthen its online visibility and sales.
