National Roper’s Supply (David’s Western Store), a three‑store multichannel retailer, faced a high‑stakes test at the 2011 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo: a 90,000 sq. ft. temporary store at the MGM Grand with major vendor expectations, the need for daily vendor reporting, and a legacy POS that couldn’t support growing inventory, e‑commerce, call center or high transaction volume.
NRS selected Celerant Command RETAIL to integrate brick‑and‑mortar, web, warehouse and call‑center operations, deploying 15 registers, redundant servers and onsite support. The system handled the load—averaging more than 1,250 transactions per day during the seven‑day event with no significant issues—met vendor reporting needs, and is now being rolled out across NRS’s stores, warehouse and call center.
