Avon, the global beauty brand behind Avon.com, needed to make thousands of products easy to find while preserving the personalized guidance customers expect from its traditional door‑to‑door sales model. To address this, Avon implemented the Celebros Salesperson site search, navigation and merchandising solution to deliver accurate, tailored results across its catalog.
Celebros deployed Salesperson in April 2005 and later integrated third‑party customer reviews (Feb 2008), automatically displaying average ratings, custom icons and a sort‑by‑rating option with no direct technical work required from Avon. The Celebros solution helped Avon.com increase internal search conversion by 50%, alongside notable online revenue growth ($566M in 2006 to $612M in 2007).
