Route Operator, which services over 7,100 gaming devices across Nevada, struggled with complex, geography-driven scheduling for hundreds of employees, frequent last-minute call-ins, vacations and locating staff for specific sites. To solve this, Route Operator selected Celayix Software and its hosted SaaS product eTime Xpress to manage workforce availability, site preferences and overtime rules.

Celayix Software implemented a rules-based eTime Xpress system that automated scheduling, availability tracking and overtime coding. The result: schedules are built eight times faster (biweekly scheduling dropped from about 2 hours to 15 minutes), overtime is tracked and reduced so savings have paid for the system, and schedulers can make on-the-fly changes—cutting manual work and enabling business growth.
