North Shore Community Action Programs (NSCAP), a nonprofit serving elderly and low-income residents on the North Shore of Massachusetts, faced a failing legacy system that left staff managing schedules in spreadsheets and spending an entire week on bi-weekly payroll and up to three days on monthly billing. To modernize time & attendance tracking, scheduling, billing and payroll, NSCAP selected Celayix Software’s Celayix eTime Xpress.
Celayix Software implemented Celayix eTime Xpress as a centralized, web-enabled database with customized billing codes and configured bill/pay rules, eliminating duplicate data entry and speeding reporting. The change cut payroll processing time by 75%, reduced monthly billing from three days to one, and accelerated payments by several days to about a month; bi-weekly payroll now takes roughly one day instead of a full week. Celayix Software also provided configuration and ongoing support as a dedicated partner.
