Gateway Church Boosts Staff and Volunteer Attendance

Gateway Church, a rapidly growing non-denominational church in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that runs about 150 events across two campuses, faced poor staff and volunteer attendance because their open-source calendar made it hard for people to find their shifts. To give employees and volunteers better access to scheduling information, Gateway Church adopted Celayix Software’s hosted solutions, Celayix eTime Xpress and Web Xpress.

Celayix Software implemented eTime Xpress for streamlined scheduling and Web Xpress to publish personalized online schedules and match volunteers’ qualifications to shifts; monthly schedules now take less than a day to produce. The change boosted attendance from 85% to 99%, improved match of skills to roles, and saved the church thousands of dollars by reducing the need to hire outside contractors.
