Petco, the health and wellness retailer with more than 1,500 locations, needed a better way to share information with its pet care centers and track labor hours tied to operational activity. Using an in-house system had created gaps in timely communication and visibility, making it harder for teams to access what they needed quickly. Cegid Retail Store Excellence helped Petco address this challenge with its retail ops platform, Cegid Retail Store Excellence (ex StorIQ).
Cegid worked with Petco to build Activity Planning tools connected to its communication and task management platform, giving the company better visibility into labor hours vs. budget and helping schedule activity consistently across stores. The implementation was delivered on time and on budget, and in the first six months Cegid Retail Store Excellence supported more than 1 million tasks and checklists, 7,500 store reviews, and 2,000 store communications, improving efficiency and compliance across Petco locations.
