L'Oréal USA set out to modernize its luxury and specialty retail footprint—spanning Kiehl's, NYX, Urban Decay, Carol's Daughter and L'Oréal Outlet—by adopting omni-channel, mobile and EMV-ready solutions across ~200 North American stores. The challenge was to empower sales associates to deliver personalized, on‑floor service, speed checkout, boost sales through cross-sell/upsell, and reduce credit-card fraud risk.
The company deployed an integrated stack—Cegid mobile POS, KIBO order management, Adyen payment processing and VeriFone EMV hardware—enabling associates to roam with real-time inventory, customer and loyalty data. The result: shorter lines and fewer walkaways, richer customer interactions and increased sales, plus stronger payment security and reduced fraud exposure.
