Eric Bompard, the luxury knitwear retailer, needed to streamline in-store operations and improve stock management and performance monitoring. With only one computer per store, teams had to handle checkout, product receipt, and returns from a single register, which limited mobility and made inventory tasks more cumbersome. Cegid Retail helped address these challenges, including with Cegid Retail Inventory Tracking and Cegid Retail Y2.
Cegid enabled Eric Bompard to move receipt and returns processing to PDAs, freeing up register space and improving staff mobility and customer service. The retailer also gained the ability to run partial and more frequent inventories, improve stock accuracy, and generate reliable real-time dashboards through Cegid Retail Intelligence. As a result, Eric Bompard improved store efficiency, responsiveness, and reporting quality for senior management and shareholders.
