A Cegid Case Study
Shiseido, the Japanese beauty brand and one of the world’s largest cosmetics companies, faced the challenge of standardizing retail operations as it expanded across Asia and built out its omnichannel presence. To support this growth, Shiseido selected Cegid Retail Y2, Cegid’s cloud-based retail software, for more than 600 stores, aiming to improve customer service, stock management, and in-store selling through centralized control and real-time visibility.
Cegid implemented a unified commerce platform and mobile tools to give store staff instant access to sales, inventory, customer history, and loyalty data, while also improving reporting and replenishment. The rollout, following a successful pilot in 30 Singapore stores, delivered more seamless shopping experiences, better governance, and faster decision-making, with measurable benefits including real-time sales and inventory visibility across six Asia-Pacific countries.
