A Cegid Case Study
Barbour, the British country-lifestyle brand known for its wax jackets, faced the challenge of supporting rapid US and European expansion while replacing disparate, country-specific retail systems. To support new store openings in the UK, Germany and the USA across 30+ stores, the retailer sought a more robust, industry-focused POS and merchandising platform able to handle different languages, time zones and tax regimes.
Barbour rolled out Cegid’s Yourcegid Retail—including modules for merchandise management, replenishment, CRM and workforce optimization—after a six-month outlet trial. The new system delivered faster, more reliable transactions, strong staff adoption and about $1.5 million processed quickly during a busy period, giving Barbour a stable, scalable platform to streamline operations and support further international growth.
