Clarks, the historic British shoe manufacturer and retailer with around 1,400 branded stores and franchises, needed a better way to train, communicate with and ensure compliance across its store teams. Previously reliant on a social engagement platform with limited visibility, Clarks partnered with Cegid Retail Store Excellence to deploy a mobile learning and communications solution (StorIQ Academy) to train staff, share key information and drive brand standards across owned and franchise stores.

Cegid Retail Store Excellence implemented StorIQ Academy along with task management and compliance tools, enabling Clarks to create multi-lesson courses with images, videos and quizzes in under an hour, onboard new and seasonal staff so they can access training on their first shift, and centralise user management. The solution delivered integrated, real-time reporting and a transformational level of visibility across store operations, and drove a strong increase in in-store engagement and faster onboarding.
