Funeral specialist Dela centralizes the administration of its funeral homes with Dynamics 365

Funeral specialist DELA, one of the largest names in the Belgian funeral industry, faced the challenge of replacing its outdated and impossible-to-update legacy application. The company needed to digitize the administrative records for its more than 70 independently operated funeral homes with a scalable, flexible, and simplified central ERP system. To achieve this, DELA partnered with vendor Cegeka.

Cegeka implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the central ERP system, becoming the first company in Belgium to use its cloud version. The solution digitized the entire administrative process for funerals and was customized with 'funeral language' to suit the non-technical staff. As a result, DELA gained insight into processes and figures across the entire group and uses Microsoft Power BI for data analytics. Cegeka's solution provided a scalable platform that centralized data and set the foundation for DELA's ongoing digitization.
