FAMHP optimises its data management with a new application from Cegeka

The Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP), a Belgian health authority, faced challenges with its outdated MeSeA application, which hampered its ability to effectively monitor medicines and process critical files. Seeking a high-performance solution to centralize data and reduce maintenance costs, the agency partnered with vendor Cegeka for its application maintenance and development expertise.

Cegeka implemented two new custom-built applications: the Dossier Tracking System (DTS) for managing authorization files and Medicinal Product Management (MPM) for the medicine life cycle, alongside a new data warehouse. This solution from Cegeka integrated and migrated old data, resulting in faster, more powerful applications with increased performance for users, optimal responsiveness, and significantly improved data quality for the customer.
