Cera, one of Belgium's largest cooperatives, faced the challenge of having its member data scattered across approximately 15 different databases, preventing a unified view of its 386,000 members. To support its strategic goal of growing membership and improving engagement, Cera needed to break down these data silos and gain more insight into member behavior and needs. They engaged vendor Cegeka to implement a solution.

Cegeka built a secure cloud data lake on Microsoft Azure, which integrated all of Cera's disparate data sources into a uniform platform. This solution provided Cera with a powerful foundation for analysis, enabling more effective communication and deeper insights into member engagement. Cegeka's work, which also passed an independent security audit, successfully supported Cera's strategic roadmap and goal of reaching 400,000 members.
