‘Auguste’ intranet transforms VRT into connected organisation

The public broadcaster VRT faced challenges with its outdated intranet, which featured cumbersome procedures and only allowed for top-down communication from its communications department. This made it difficult to efficiently reach all employees and foster collaboration. VRT enlisted the vendor Cegeka to build a new, user-friendly intranet platform to address these issues.

Cegeka implemented a new intranet named Auguste, built on Microsoft Office 365. The solution integrated Microsoft Yammer and featured a responsive design for easy access from anywhere. This transformed VRT into a connected organization by enabling efficient communication, smooth information sharing, and improved collaboration through self-managed team sites. According to a VRT representative, the key results were exceptional ease of use, high adoption across the organization, and the elimination of multiple document versions, making everything easy to find.
