A Cedaron Case Study
One of Kentucky’s largest healthcare systems — comprising seven owned hospitals and one managed hospital — was ready to move to a next‑generation EMR after eight years on ReDoc. The existing system lacked robustness, was slow to deliver regulatory updates and upgrades, and left the department vulnerable to compliance and reimbursement risks while offering limited scheduling and user‑friendliness.
They implemented Cedaron Connect, a more modern platform with faster regulatory compliance (including early support for G‑codes and modifiers), an integrated scheduling module, and a user‑friendly interface that can be deployed systemwide. The switch helped keep denials flat despite increased patient volumes, streamlined scheduling, improved evidence‑based therapy through a testing library, and provided a scalable, up‑to‑date EMR that supports growth and better documentation.
