Calaméo is a Paris‑based digital publishing platform that lets individuals and businesses create and share interactive documents. Rapid growth—now millions of users, about 10 million publications and billions of page views—caused bandwidth and capacity constraints and created a need for faster, more reliable global delivery and better protection against malicious traffic.

Calaméo adopted a hybrid hosting approach with CDNetworks (one-third on Calaméo, one-third on the CDN, one-third in the cloud) to cache content near users across CDNetworks’ global PoPs.
