Syrup-maker Monin gets sweeter ERP performance thanks to CDNetworks

Monin, a French family‑owned maker of premium syrups and food products with production in France, the US and Malaysia, moved to Oracle JD Edwards’ web‑based ERP to support growth. User tests showed severe latency in Asia—response times in Malaysia were 350–370 ms versus 10–15 ms in France—making the ERP effectively unusable for regional staff despite it being business‑critical for production, sales, purchasing, accounting and other core functions.

Monin deployed CDNetworks’ Dynamic Web Acceleration, testing it simply by redirecting a few IP/URL addresses, and went live in January 2014 without changing its infrastructure. Average ERP response times fell to 10–12 ms, delivering consistent, high‑quality performance to all 120 users (over 25% in Asia), streamlining operations worldwide and providing rapid, tangible results with minimal implementation effort.
