The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia runs the official tourism site (indonesia.travel) to promote the country to international visitors, but growing traffic from Southeast Asia, North America and Europe exposed slow page loads and strain on origin servers hosted only in Indonesia and the US. The ministry needed faster page loading for overseas users and more efficient infrastructure management to handle dispersed global demand.
