Ariston Thermo, a global HVAC leader founded in 1930, offers Wi‑Fi–enabled boilers and a cloud IoT platform that lets customers manage heating via mobile and web apps. Users in mainland China experienced very slow load times and restricted access because the services were hosted in Europe, making real‑time control impractical; building a separate China platform was infeasible due to cost and time.

Ariston partnered with CDNetworks to deploy cloud‑based China Acceleration and Dynamic Web Acceleration, with pre‑deployment testing and assistance securing the required ICP Bei’an license. The CDN dramatically reduced latency so app and web load times in China are now comparable to Europe, restoring real‑time responsiveness, avoiding a costly second platform, and enabling confident expansion of connected services.
