TOTO USA Inc., the world’s largest plumbing products manufacturer, needed a technology partner to give consumers direct, convenient and secure online access to genuine TOTO parts—previously available only through local dealers. The challenge was to create a consumer-friendly, B2C channel that could service all customer levels while integrating with TOTO’s JD Edwards ERP.
CDI implemented an ERP2Web (erp>>web) B2C storefront with category browsing, search and an intelligent exploded bill-of-material parts graphic for easy inquiry, pricing and ordering. The 24x7 self-service site expanded TOTO’s market to the public, increased customer satisfaction, drove incremental, higher-margin revenue and converted 32% of no-charge warranty part requests into paid sales.
