Clif Bar & Company, a foods manufacturer, faced an outdated ecommerce site first launched in 2007 that no longer met the company’s growing needs. The hard-coded solution lacked a modern look and feel and key functionality, making order entry and post-entry processing time-consuming for customers and staff, while credit-card processing was not fully integrated and created compliance challenges.

Clif Bar partnered with CDI to deploy ERP2Web and SnapPay—fully integrated with JD Edwards World A7.3—to provide modern, customizable interfaces and real-time order sync with JDE, simplifying future upgrades. The implementation drove an 18% increase in online orders from 2009–2013, a 26% rise in the share of online orders, and reduced paper waste and manual processing, helping meet customer service and revenue goals while supporting the company’s core values.
