Upgrade the audio and video system in the Marine Mammal Center at the New England Aquarium
The New England Aquarium, a major Boston attraction and marine conservation leader, needed to upgrade aging audio and video systems in its Marine Mammal Center, Simons IMAX Theater, and main building PA. CCS Presentation Systems was brought in to assess the existing setup, understand staff needs, and plan improvements that would support better audience interaction and future virtual experiences.
CCS Presentation Systems rebuilt and updated the equipment rack and implemented a new AV solution featuring Samsung displays, a Panasonic PTZ HD camera with heated housing, a Denon solid-state audio player, a Crestron 3-series control system with 10" touchpanel, Shure wireless microphones, and QSC audio components. The result was a more flexible, easier-to-use system with improved audio quality, live-streaming/recording capability, and enhanced digital messaging, earning strong satisfaction from aquarium stakeholders.
