The University of Arizona Regents needed to renovate President Robert Shelton’s board room in Tucson, AZ, which was old, outdated, and lacked effective communication tools for conferencing with other board and regents members. CCS Presentation Systems proposed a modern upgrade that would preserve the room’s traditional feel while adding 21st-century functionality, including a Polycom HDX 8000 high-definition video conferencing system and large Samsung LCD displays.

CCS Presentation Systems implemented a solution with four 65" Samsung LCD displays and two stacked displays on the South wall that could operate together or independently through an AMX wireless control system. The setup enabled live television, video conferencing, and computer/laptop sharing from every seat in the room, resulting in a more functional and connected Regents Room, though no specific numeric performance metrics were provided.
