Zuegg Implemented CCH Tagetik’s Software for Integrated Financial Planning, Profitability and Monthly Closing

Zuegg SPA is a family-owned Italian food producer (≈€300M revenue, ~600 employees) operating across Western & Eastern Europe and North America. The finance team needed a unified, auditable solution to manage monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and profitability at SKU, product, customer and business‑unit levels across multiple legal entities. Key requirements included driver-based allocations, detailed unit-cost calculations, reconciled P&L/BS/CF statements, variance analysis and faster, more transparent processes.

In 2016 Zuegg implemented CCH Tagetik to consolidate actual and planned scenarios in a single database with a user-friendly allocation engine, SKU-level inventory closing and cost calculations, BOM/routing unit-costs, and centralized intercompany and batch processing. The platform put process responsibility with business-unit controllers, automated reconciliations and reporting, and delivered a single source of truth—cutting close time from ~10 days to fewer than five, improving planning speed, enabling multi-currency simulations, increasing COGS accuracy, and providing full traceability and auditability.
