A CCH Tagetik Case Study
Tosoh America, the $400M parent company to 11 North American subsidiaries in chemicals and electronic materials (800 employees, HQ in Grove City, Ohio), was struggling with a manual, error-prone quarterly consolidation that required about 80 hours to complete. With subsidiaries on both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, leadership needed a faster, platform-flexible solution that ensured data integrity and freed finance staff for higher-value work.
Tosoh implemented Tagetik in about 100 days to extract, map and validate data from multiple ERPs; 15 subsidiary accountants now contribute directly in the system. The result: consolidated reporting time fell to under eight hours, true monthly cash-flow consolidation replaced quarterly-only reporting, data accuracy and confidence greatly improved, and finance headcount did not need to increase.
