A CCH Tagetik Case Study
TeamViewer, a global software company with customers in over 200 countries and a 2014 acquisition by private equity firm Permira, faced a major finance challenge after separating from its former parent. Its finance team relied on cumbersome Excel-based group reporting across Germany, the USA, Australia, Armenia and the UK and needed faster, auditable month-end close processes, entity-level cash flow statements, automated interfaces to Datev and QuickBooks, and IFRS-ready reporting to satisfy new shareholders and prepare for a potential IPO.
Satriun Group implemented Tagetik with a validated financial data model, automated ETL interfaces, intercompany matching and disclosure management, plus 120 blocking controls and end-user training — going live in about six months. The result was a significantly faster, more auditable close: automated consolidation, currency translation and eliminations, most management-report pages generated directly from the system, and a consolidated cash flow completed in minutes (saving two days of manual work) while improving data quality and local ownership.
