A CCH Tagetik Case Study
Royal HaskoningDHV, a leading independent international engineering and consultancy firm of 6,500 employees, faced a major corporate performance management challenge after the 2012 merger of Royal Haskoning and DHV: produce a single Annual Report for 2012 and adapt reporting to the new legal and management structure by early 2013. The group needed one Group Reporting System providing “one version of the truth,” worldwide access and fast delivery across 100+ entities, five consolidations and 32 currencies — all within a four‑month timeframe.
Having already validated Tagetik, Royal HaskoningDHV implemented it as the single Group Reporting System, covering redesign, integration, historical-data validation and global training. The result was a unified platform for management and financial reporting with worldwide access, faster data collection, interfaces to Agresso and Deltek, reduced manual entry, improved close efficiency, automatic equity pick‑up, a flexible budgeting model and stronger control and monitoring — enabling a shift toward proactive business control.
