Rabo Bouwfonds Communication Infrastructure Fund - Customer Case Study

Rabo Bouwfonds’ Communication Infrastructure Fund (CIF) is a leading Amsterdam‑based investment fund (€750M–€1B) focused on Dutch communications infrastructure. CIF faced growing complexity from more entities, expanded shareholder and regulatory reporting, and slow, inconsistent processes that relied on Excel/Word and external printing. The team needed to bring report production in‑house, improve data consistency, and make quarterly and annual reporting more efficient and collaborative.

CIF selected Tagetik with implementation support from Improven (proof of concept in April 2015; go‑live Nov 2015–Jan 2016). Nightly ETL from SAP into a single Tagetik repository and use of Collaborative Office centralized reporting, enabled faster analysis, and created a full audit trail. The result: more efficient, consistent reporting, broader report availability, elimination of external printing, and a cut in reporting staff time (previously 3–4 FTEs reduced by half).
