Case Study: M+W Group achieves faster consolidation and unified reporting with CCH Tagetik

A CCH Tagetik Case Study

Preview of the M+W Group Case Study

M+W Group - Customer Case Study

M+W Group, a Stuttgart‑based engineering and construction firm with about 6,000 employees and €1.8 billion in 2010 revenue, struggled with duplicate, error‑prone processes: finance ran management and statutory consolidation in two separate systems and relied on Excel and faxes for intercompany reconciliation, creating high workloads and low data transparency.

M+W implemented Tagetik 3.0 with pmOne/Alper & Schetter to unify consolidation, planning, reporting and project controlling in a web‑based platform featuring rule‑based intercompany matching and built‑in validations. The solution made reconciliation paperless, improved data quality and transparency, eliminated double reporting, accelerated close and reporting cycles, trained 100+ users worldwide, and has been extended to project controlling with treasury integration planned.
