Agfa-Gevaert Group, a global developer and supplier of imaging systems and IT solutions for printing, healthcare and industry, needed to modernize its budgeting and consolidation processes after a business unit request prompted a full review of tools and requirements. Existing systems (including SAP SEM-BCS and Cognos Controller) no longer met their needs for efficiency, control and simplified interfacing.
