A CCH Tagetik Case Study
Henkel, a global consumer and industrial company with €16.5 billion in 2012 sales and about 47,000 employees, faced fragmented, slow and highly granular planning across business sectors and some 1,000 planners. The finance team needed a single worldwide solution that would support standardized, driver-based planning while preserving flexibility for individual divisions, reduce administrative effort and increase transparency of dependencies between operational drivers and financial targets.
Henkel partnered with Tagetik and pmOne to deploy a centralized, driver-tree–based planning system with web and spreadsheet integration, workflow monitoring and scenario simulation. After a pilot and broad training, the unified solution shortened planning cycles, reduced repetitive work, improved visualization of value drivers, enabled top-down alignment with bottom-up validation, and delivered more efficient, flexible and transparent enterprise planning.
